  • Have you taken her to the doctor for the constipation?

  • No, it's just been like a half hour but she's just having trouble this once.

  • If the physician approves, you can try an infant suppository.....

  • prune juice.

  • glycerin suppositories work, but if it's only been less than a day then I wouldn't go that route. It could set off withholding her poop and that can be an ugly road to go down. Sometimes they don't poop every day.

  • i switched from cows milk to almond milk
and my daughter's poops got regular
when she was drinking cows milk, she was either too hard or runny
almond has all that cows milk does plus MORE, and no crap that they feed cows

in three days her speech improved HUGE

the cows milk was making her poos too hard or way too soft

can try it- almond milk is good for you- ask doctor, and of course if has issue with nuts- it is a no go
    * soy- not good sub. IF dairy is the issue (i do not know why, i just did almond and it was an easy fix

  • If t's just once then I'd just give her lots of water, prunes, etc.

  • Just for once in a while, a few prunes or a bit of prune juice wil work wonders. If it becomes more of an all the time thing, see the pediatrician. Suppositories will work, but they're often traumatic for the child, who doesn't like things being stuck up her butt any more than we would.
