2 Bumps

Not a question, but I wanted to share

Three weeks ago my 19 year old Rosie kitty passed away. So today we took a trip to the humane society. We found the most adorable one year old torti named Ferra. It was clear she needed a buddy, so we searched for a playmate. She loved everyone and everything, but after 4 other kitties hissed and growled at Farra's friendly gestures, I didn't know if we were going to be  able to find her a companion. So, while I had no intention of getting a kitten, there was Dita, a 3 month old grey and white short hair. We introduced her to Farra, and there was an instant bond. Ferra started treating Dita like she was her kitten, and my heart was stolen. So we now have two kitties who are adjusting well to their new home, and are even tolerating the dogs. Ferra is mellow and nurturing to Dita, and Dita is a VERY rambunctious, curious, live wire. Both are lap cats, that is when you can get Dita to calm down.
