  • Your body won't go into labor unless its ready no matter what you do.

  • If "stuff comes out," its the pre-milk or colostrum. That's normal. Have you started to dilate or efface? If not, nipple stimulation probably won't do anything to start labor. You may get contractions but its pressure on your cervix from the baby's head that is more effective in dilation and effacement than contractions. If your body isn't ready, you may just cause yourself contractions that will just tire your uterus out when you could be resting. Walking will help you dilate and get you ready for labor. Just remember to alternate it with lots of rest and lots of fluids.

  • Just use cloth-pins... you can attach them to your nipples and walk around like that all day... then you can multitask!!

  • Stop. Just stop. It doesn't work if your body isn't ready to go into labor. All your doing is expressing the first milk that your baby will need once s/he is born. YOU CANNOT induce yourself into labor. Your body is telling you that it is not time yet. You've waited this long what's a few more days/weeks. When are women going to realize when it comes to pregnancy YOU DO NOT GET TO BE IN CONTROL of it? NATURE is in charge and you are along for the ride.

  • If you're anywhere before 40 weeks, it could be till you hit 40 weeks. And remember that your due date can be off by two weeks in either direction. So if the calendar puts you at 39 weeks, you may really be only 37 weeks.

Leave it be. Baby will come when it's time.

  • The only thing that is going to do is make you horny! No good hard sex might make you go into labor. But that might be a myth too. But it is fun to do.
