Is it true that some women bleed like a menstral bleeding during pregnancy

  • Some women bleed, yes. But if it's BRIGHT red (new blood) instead of brown, I would go in and get checked ASAP.

  • Yes, some women do continue to have period-like bleeding at "that time of the month" each month during pregnancy. Bleeding during pregnancy is always cause for concern no matter what color it is (according to What to Expect When You're Expecting, brown bleeding between 15-20 weeks should be evaluated by a doctor immediately). Discuss any bleeding with your doctor to make sure it is safe. I've known plenty of people to have bleeding during pregnancy who were fine and plenty more who weren't so always stay in touch with your doc.
