What is the best tablet for a 6 year old?

I want to get my daughter a tablet but there are so many to choose from. She's 6 years old going on 13 lol. I wanted her to still get some educational purpose out of it so I bought her a leap pad for Christmas, she was bored with it within a month. She loves to use my kindle fire but I don't know if I should get her her own or something different. Any suggestions would be great!

  • Allow her to use yours for now. IMO she is too young to have one on her own. It is better for her to be running and playing with others for the most part. With you having the only one you can control how much access she has to it and help to keep her focused on RL rather than electronic life.

  • none...
I would never buy something like that for a 6 yr old- they would be lucky at 14 or 15!

  • Personally I wouldn't buy one for a six yr old. I have one that I allow my 6 yr old to use for educational games.
