Any substitute for dill in potato salad?

Our dill had no lid and got dumped over in the move. I am taking heat for not saving the dill.

Can anything be used to substitute dried dill?

  • Hmmm I think not but I never use dill. I use paprika and tiny sliced pickles or olives.

  • If I had no dill I think I might go another direction with the salad. Maybe onion, Cheyenne pepper, cilantro and bacon bits. Or Parsley, garlic powder and basil.

  • Never put dill in my potato salad. Just mayo, mustard, pickles, boiled eggs, salt, pepper, and of course potates.

  • I don't use dill in potato salad...
mom always used relish (I don't use that either)

I just use miracle whip, a bit of vinegar a sprinkle of sugar a bit of mustard, onion and hard boiled eggs
