My cycles usually 28 days, my last period was on the 5th july, so I'm due on on the 2nd aug, its now the 5th and still no sign? If I test now will it be to early to tell? Thank you

  • Some tests can detect the pregnancy hormone 3 days BEFORE your period is due, depending on when you ovulated. If you tested now, HCG would definitely be detectable if you're pregnant.

  • No, since you can test now up to 5 days before your period it will be fine

  • Of course you can test. You will waste you PT test but you can test any time you want.
It is best to follow the directions on the box though.

  • Most modern tests will work as soon as you miss a period, some even before that. The down side is that a lot of those very early pregnancies don't take, so women get excited over something that may go wrong.

  • You should be fine to test. Your cycle is actually MIA so go ahead.
