Is it national annoy your mom day?

Everything was going swell up until about 1/2 hr ago. It was then that after working all day, making supper, cleaning the kitchen and running to the store, I decided it was time to relax.
My 2 oldest decided it was time to annoy each other and escalate into annoying mom.
It ended with my son punching his sister's laptop because she sat next to him and turned up her music. He turned up his music and she turned up hers.

I've now sent them to separate rooms and made them BOTH turn down their music. Hopefully the rest of my night is peaceful.

Anyone else have teens that have decided it's national annoy day?

  • It sounds like time for school to start. I love my kids, don't get me wrong, I even homeschool one. But good lord they need to be apart from each other.

  • I thought that wasn't until Friday. I am so glad I missed it.

  • No teens here now; my stepson is back in school. I'm thanking my lucky stars!

  • Mine! He got grumpy when my husband was telling a story about something that happened years ago (well, sometimes *I* get grumpy about that too), and got worse when he was told to head outside and pick up the Nerf darts and pieces left out on the front lawn. He did what he was told though. So I let him stalk upstairs.
