How to stop teenage boy from peeing on toilet seat

I can't get my son to lift up the lid and pee In the toilet. My boyfriend is moving in and this habit drives both of us crazy. Any suggestion would help. I wonder if having him clean the toilet with bathroom cleaner and paper towel would get him to break the habit?

  •  Besides handing the boy the disinfecting wipes to clean up his messes- maybe try these if he refuses to sit :p

  • I raised three boys. Make him clean it every single time he peed on it!! Even if it's 4 am. If you get up to go pee and its peed on then go get him out of bed to clean it!!! This will break the habit very quickly, I guarantee it

  • If he is old enough to know better, than it may be a hard habit to break. What have you asked him to do over the years? What has worked or not worked?

  • I asked him every time to check the bathroom but I'm not there all the time and constantly have to clean up behind him. So, I think having him clean the toilet is the best solution thus far.

  • I would make him clean the bathroom. He messes it up he can clean it. If that did't work. I would imbarres him. By toilet training him again. Go in and see why he can't aim right.
