my son had teething pain with fever in the night ,today his nose running and eyes are very red...or is this some virus? when should we go to see a doctor?

the eyes are getting a yellowish discharge

  • He most likely has conjunctivitis (pink eye). It usually appears before a virus. He needs prescription eye drops. Take him to the pediatrician ASAP. My Son had that this past winter & then he developed pneumonia.

  • It never hurts to run the baby into the doctor if you are concerned. Babies get runny nose and eyes when teething. They get cranky and sometimes run a slight fever.
    I d not remember a yellowish discharge unless they were sick though.

  • I wasn't too worried till you said yellow discharge from the eyes. I hope you took him to see the pediatrician, just in case.
