  • think (in my mind at least) that i can make a dress that will be close enough
and i know i can find some skull earrings, crown, and necklace
    but the hand things!

daughter collects candy and gives it to firemen and police station (as she can not eat that crap_ Feingold elimination diet
i get her some fun little gifts, so she has something after collecting candy and giving it all away

MAYBE, i should suck it up and spend the 20 bucks for these things- sure there is a pricey shipping fee too
she is REALLY addicted to this costume and she would be thrilled
however... halloween is far away and chances are that she could be addicted to another idea by then
and she has autism (hence elimination diet) with autism she has sensory issues- she COULD not like the feel of these on her hands and wear for a minute

    hmmmmmmm, what to do

    ideas?

  • i love that idea
the pipe cleaners are flexible- those from catalog are metal (which of course she does not know what they are made of)

  • Try your local head shop first. They may be able to point you in the right direction locally...
You could allow her to try them on too.
You may even be able to get a slave bracelet in a similar design so it only touches one finger

  • I think that the cost to make it will be the same as buying it for $20 and at least if you buy it you know they will be awesome, where if you try to make them it could take a couple tries and you could end up spending more. Those are cool

  • no head shops around here anymore

there were two that i remember when teenager

but they do put up a temp halloween store near the mall a few blocks away

will try there when it opens, while i imagine that i can recreate these in pipe cleaners

  • Body paint sounds awesome!
Here is a similar one under $6 and free shipping. But it is adult :(

  • tried the body paint idea on her
    she was not buying it

    but
she does not know what these are made of
    so tin foil- home made
    or
    plastic from halloween shop
    might be cool enough

are you sure- no one wants to make these for me in all their spare time-lmao
