If I cook chicken nuggets in the oven will it catch us all on fire?

My 3 year old is pitching a fit since I turned the oven on and she keeps saying it will start a fire and our eyes will catch on fire.

She's begging for the microwave.

What's with this kid? Obviously hungry. Not making any sense~!

  • Someone is being three...pushing her limits, and double checking what her reality really is!! Typical three year old. Put the nuggets out where she can access them then walk away as long as you play her game she will keep it up

  • No you will not catch all of you on fire. I would be curious what she was seeing on TV

  • I prefer the oven myself, nice n crunchy and not funky soggy. Kids can be so impatient! haha

  • Maybe the truth is she doesn't want to wait for the oven. The nuke is quicker.

  • a few weeks back there was a woman asking if all kinds of things would catch her oven on fire, has she been reading answers while you are not looking? LOL!
Tell her the nuggets taste better in the oven, sounds to me like she just wants them as in RIGHT NOW!

  • Microwaved nuggets are gross and spongy. I use my toaster oven.

  • That's silly. No it won't. Not anymore of a risk than cooking anything else.
Maybe ask her why she thinks that!

  • I wouldn't chalk it up to tv. She's just being a big butt today.

    Where are my chicken nuggets?!
    On the counter

WHAT'S A COUNTER?! *points to the wall* IS THIS A COUNTER?

    *pulls hair out*

Time to drink that coffee of mine....
