Little piece of skin hanging off my areola?? adult content

The other day my DH said there was something weird on my breast. I looked down and it looked like I had a piece of skin hanging from my areola...not very big and looked like it could almost be easily pulled off...so I messed with it a little and now it's BLACK and slightly smaller but it's painful to touch.

What the heck is this??
I'm 22 weeks pregnant

  • Bring it up at your next appointment.

I would think black means infection. Did it bleed when you pulled it off?

  • Sounds like a skin tag to me, too. But if it's black, bring it up at next appointment to be safe.

  • Could you just close this question please? Every time I pass it on Answers I want to puke. The TMI flag means put the vomitus info inside the question not the title. BLECH.

Have you never had children? Because this is my second pregnancy and trust me...a skin tag on my breast is far from disgusting in comparison to some of the things I've dealt with during pregnancy, childbirth, healing and raising a little one. And no, I won't close the question just because you said that.

  • Obviously you have no idea of how to use the TMI button.
