In your book. Just curious.

  • That is a very difficult question to answer, seeing as there are many lazy things parents do, that I don't agree with, but those things alone would not define them as a 'lazy parent'.

In the long run - a lazy parent is one who does not put their child before all else, someone who did not research the effects of certain parenting 'techniques', and ultimately - someone who's child can not count on them.

  • Some one that doesnt discipline their children. whether it is spanking, time outs or whatever just care enough about your child to discipline them.

  • Parents who just parent the way its always been done. They don't stop to think that what was done to them or wasn't done may or may not be the best way. They don't research anything. They just sort of float along.
