The circus was scary to my son...

We took our son who will be 3 in September to the Ringling bros. circus today and it was not successful, he got very scared and we had to leave. I kind of knew that might happen and went with an open mind knowing I may have to wait out in the lobby while everyone else watched the show, and that's what happened, and I'm ok with that. Anyway my mom pissed me off because she said that's not normal for his age ...I think it is normal! What do u think?

  • Every kid is different and there are certainly disorders and what-not that could cause him to not like certain aspects of the circus. If he is an otherwise healthy and adjusted child who is meeting milestones (physical, emotional and social), I would say it was normal for your child.

  • The circus scares me, I surely wouldn't expect a 3 year old to think it's We don't go see things that abuse animals for money.
