What's on your menu today?

It's Sunday therefore the neighbors are coming over for a BBQ.

South Texas pork ribeyes, Dijon chicken legs, boudain, corn on the cob, portobello mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese and andouille sausage and peaches for dessert. Oh, and they are bringing southern slaw, beans and potato salad.

  • What's boudain?

I'd love to come to your barbecue as well. I love barbecued sausage.

I couldn't think of what to make for dinner, and my daughter piped up right away with spaghetti, which she'd have every day if I let her. So spaghetti it will be.

  • Leftover roast and veggies. It's been cool enough lately that it's not a tragedy to turn the oven on, so we went ahead and dug one out. Also have a ham defrosting for when the leftovers run out this week.
