Once a report is made to CPS can it be removed if a family intervention meeting is agreed upon?

  • You'd have to find out from the caseworker assigned to investigate the family.

  • No. Cps may agree to whatever plan the family comes up with but they can't just cancel the investigation.

  • Once a report is made CPS is required to look into the matter.

  • It's for the safety of the kids. Otherwise, abusive parents agree to a meeting and then that's it, and the kids pay.
