  • Why doesnt' your doctor want you going more than a day or two? Walking and all other SAFE forms of natural induction (pineapple, sex, walking, spicy foods, ect) will only work if your body is ready to have a baby. That's why they are safe! Trying to force your baby out when they are not ready is not safe. While your walking around walmart, buy a whole fresh pineapple and a lime. Core and slice the pineapple and place it in a large gallon bag. Squirt it with the juice of one lime and 1 teaspoon on cyann pepper and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. Shake well to coat. This is DELISH even though it soudns wierd. After you eat the pineapple, have TONS of sex with no condom. Then, walk some more. If that doesn't put you into labor, your just not ready hon. Good luck!

  • yes yes walking helps. i walked up and down the hills on the army b ase and went into labor the next day. the doctors even told me to walk and go up and down stairs. i d k why this works but it does. thats also why when they dont want you to go inot labor they put you on bes rest. so yes if it is ok to go then go!

  • Walking helps, but it's not your solution.
What is going on with your doctor~ do you have health complications or is this for doctor's convenience?
If you don't want to be medically induced you always have the right to refuse, of course.

You can certainly try walking~ it can help baby to get into position, but doesn't overdo it! You don't need to be worn out!!
