whats a good age to let kids watch scary movies?

  • It depends on the type of scare, we didn't do gore as soon as we did scary.

  • well see i dont watch scary movies but hubby does.. i'm just scared they'll have nightmares lol

  • How old are they? My kids are grown but I think I kept them away until they were about 10

  • they are 6 and 7 my oldest.. wants to watch scary movies with his step dad.. but i'm a little hesitant.. he watched goosebumps and was like thats not scary.. lol

  • Mine have been watching them for years, because they don't get scared easily. lol

    You have to decide when you think they're ready. If you don't watch them, but your hubby does and he wants them to watch the movies with him, then I'd tell him that if it gives them nightmares, he's the one that has to get up with them. lol
