Go to a shelter who can help you find the resources to get set up with food stamps, affordable housing, and work training programs. Goodwill and the Salvation Army have work and rehabilitation programs. While you stay at the shelter, you might be able to start working for Goodwill or another charity to earn your own money and build work skills and experience. In the meantime, you should be able to have housing and food from the shelters. Try a variety of churches as well for help. They might be able to set you up with a family for temporary housing. So many people are homeless when there are ways not to stay that way. There are MANY social services programs to help people in need. Some housing is specifically set aside for the homeless. Search for "emergency shelter" in your area. What state are you in?
