How do you prevent pregnancy?

I don't want to take any birth controls BC of the risks...

And I'm terrified to be put to sleep for a tubal ligation.

If u just use the pull out method and condoms, is your sex life as good? I just feel like I will worry too Much about becoming pregnant if I don't have a better birth control...

  • The only for sure way of not getting pregnant is abstinence.

The pull out method isn't very good and your sex life isn't nearly as good.

Being put to sleep for a tubal isn't that bad. I did it and everything turned out great. Have you had a bad experience getting put under before? Why can't he get snipped?

    What about an IUD?

I really think you need to discuss all of your options with your dr.

  • You don't need to be put to sleep for a tubal. It can be done with a local.

  • He doesn't want a vasectomy. I had the IUD and didn't like it. I'm going to talk more to my Dr about it when I go back. I'm pregnant right now and have a few months to decide. But its stressing me so bad! And no I've been out to sleep to have my appendix removed, sew my arm up from car wreck, and wisdom teeth...but im just terrified to be put under especially having two kids who need their mommy.

  • What about ESure? That's permanent and done in a doctor's office without general anesthesia.

  • If you've been put under before then what's the big deal? You know you're not allergic to the anesthesia.
If this is how you worry about everything, I'd suggest counseling!

  • Well if have no intention on using any BC. He or you do not want to get fixed surgically.  Not having sex is the only true way to not get pregnant then.

  • You've been put under without problem before, so there's no reason for you to be so terrified. If you don't want to use the pill, or an IUD, diaphragm, condoms, etc., and he won't get a vasectomy, then your only real option (if you really don't want to get pregnant) is a tubal. Pull out method is only a good option if you're really okay with getting pregnant.

  • Get tubes tied when in hospital having your baby
    You are already there
    IMO

Or use pull out and condoms, but chances you get pregnant are not low, and you will be worried very month.
