3 Bumps

RIP, Pooka

Well we put the dog down yesterday, it was very sad, but 14 years of companionship made me a much better person. I feel relieved he is no longer suffering.
On a lighter note my screen name is truthful again.

  • hugs I'm so sorry.  I know how hard it is, believe me.  It's been a little over 3 wks since we had to put our 13 y/o lab/shepherd down & I still have my moments.  I hope you will find comfort in knowing you gave your dog a good, loving home for 14 long years & that he is no longer suffering.  The passing into permanent comfort for them is so peaceful.  And having the other 2 dogs to come home to makes it a little easier.  Feel free to IM me any time.  *hugs*

  • I'm sorry. It's terribly hard. But you're right, that dog has enriched your life, and you'll always have the memories.

  • So sorry on the loss of your pet. Wouldn't it be nice if they lived as long as we did

  • :(

I don't know what I'll do when that time comes. It's probably part of the reason I never wanted a dog, so I wouldn't have to deal with the loss.
