Had $60 in gym clothes. Our bad we wanted him to have 2 sets so he could have one to wear and one to come home. LOL

  • $0. We don't have registration fees, transportation fees, etc. Only thing we pay for is the school supplies. (We get a list just like most districts across the nation) and school lunches if I want them to buy instead of pack.

  • Nothing through the school yet. We'll find out later how much it'll be for gym clothes - it's the first day of middle school for my 7th grader. All I have spent so far is $10 for a school pride shirt, but that's optional.

  • Zero - we homeschool. The only money I spend is on the supplies and field trips we choose to use.

The public schools here have no registration fees. Some provide all the supplies needed, as well, while others send home a list that the parents must provide, but it's generally pretty basic - paper, pencils, pens, crayons, etc. PE uniforms for middle and high school, and if you choose to put your kid in band or some other activity, you pay for whatever things are needed for that.

  • Pictures are separate, and that won't come home for a few months yet. The elementary fee is $100 book rental, plus all individual school supplies. Computer labs and everything else are included in that. It will go up a lot more once he gets to middle school.
