  • Well, if they ask for money, channel your inner Nancy Reagan and just say no. If they're making bad choices, that's hard to watch, but whether or not it makes you depressed is up to you. Only you get to decide how you react to what happens in your life.

  • No one 'causes' you to feel a certain way. You are in charge of your emotions. While they might act a certain way, and you can not control how they act, you can control what your response is.

Eleanor Roosevelt once states "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" The same goes with any other emotion. You control YOUR emotions and actions.

And if they are causing you to go broke, stop giving them money!!!

  • So, why do you allow them to do that? Stop allowing it and you'll feel better.

  • You are the parent, tell them NO! when asking for money or wanting things that you don't feel is a "NEED" right now. They can earn things they want..and if they are old enough make them go get a job!

  • Okay. Since you didn't actually ask a question. Just okay.
