What are some good reasons you would file for a separation?

    It's all or nothing honey! If I file anything, it's divorce. There ain't no in between....

  • Someone explain this, "filing for separation" thing. I have seen it on several different threads.
    What is it?
    What does it entail?
    Do you have to do it prior to divorce?
    Do you do it while you are "working" on the relationship?
