  • somewhere i heard that moth balls work when hung in a nylon on an outdoor trash can to keep them away

    I would have just taken it out side and, like PGA said, washed the damn thing.

    They are just fly larvae.

  • Rinsing it out would be a good idea, outside then air drt, so say the bleach had killed them, you want to leave dead maggots in the trash can?
    I swear this question has been on here several times! Babies who won't come out, people who keep having no period, and people who have kids they can't spell the disorder of yikes!

  • Bleach will kill anything.... You must have not tried enough!! LOL! Pour bleach in there and then hose it out. Let it sit outside in the sun.

  • Have you looked on your floor. They may have gotten on the kitchen floor and are climbing up to the trash again. I would bleach your kitchen floor as well.
