My kid got his baby molars pulled today.

Can he brush his teeth tonight? The paperwork we got when he was done didn't say either way. The procedure was really easy, the teeth just popped out. So it wasn't very invasive.

  • I remember when my son had his done last July, I was told to skip brushing that night, but gently rinse.

  • My son had oral surgery and had caps put on his teeth , they said the first day not to brush. Use your finger to gently put paste on teeth . The following day continue with brush but be very gentle!

  • Having recently had teeth pulled, a gentle rinse should be fine, with gentle brushing once a day or two has passed. I didn't really want to brush near the removed teeth though, so he may be cranky when you reach that point.
