What should i do?

I am 19 weeks along and i have a cold now! Its been about 3 days now and i have been drinking orange juice and eating soups and staying rested (when im not in class) is there any kind of medicine i can take to help get rid of this cough? i feel stuffy when i go to sleep and i cant stop coughing

  • It's best not to take anything while pregnant except what's been approved by your doctor.

  • try honey and gobs of throat lozenges to be comfortable. keep making sure you don't have a fever and avoid dairy like the plague. Also hit the steamy shower as much as possible. This too shall pass

  • Sounds like you need to see the doc to make sure you don't have a secondary infection

  • Plain old robitussin. Sudafed if you are absolutely miserable. These are what my doctor ok'ed when I was pregnant, but I would still feel a lot better if you double check with yours.
