  • No but good luck! Great Dane's are sooo sweet. I would like one, but I can't handle a dog right now.

  • PLEASE take the time & make sure the puppy does not come from a puppy mill. We just had about 400 dogs seized from about 3 of them and it's so sad to hear what these dogs go thru. Check with your local ASPCA or animal control to see if they have any leads for you and if you find a breeder check with the ASPCA to make sure they're a lgit good breeder

  • And if you've never had a Dane before, please do the research. So many Danes are abandoned or given up as adults because people just do not understand how big they get and the care they can require. They are my favorite breed and I have had 2 in my lifetime and hope to have another some day. Danes have special needs and are very special dogs. They have to be kept indoors, they are susceptible to joint disorders...especially in the hips as well as gastric problems if their food bowls aren't high enough. They LOVE to be near their families and get really attached to their humans...especially their Alpha leader. If not properly trained, they can destroy a house! I once had one of mine eat half a door when he got stuck in a bedroom! LOL! So, do your research and know what you're getting into if you don't already. Good luck!
