  • How bad is it? Is he bleeding? Does he need to see a doctor? Is there debris in the cut? How did it happen? Have you tried ice? More info would help.

  • Ice it.

  • It bled a little. He just cut it with his top teeth because he hit his chin. No debris & the bleeding stopped pretty fast. Its just a bit swollen. He was throwing a fit :/

  • an icepak should do it or a popsicle

  • A popsicle is a good idea...but I highly doubt it would bruise or swell up from just that.

  • I always popped in a pacifier. It stops the bleeding fast & lessens the swelling. If he resists anything cold on it, just leave it as long as the bleeding stopped. Both my kids have done that many times by tripping & hitting their face on my tile floor in the kitchen so I put down area rugs. Poor baby :( I hate when that happens.

  • My daughter cut her lip pretty bad with her teeth when she fell and I let her suck on ice cube and a wet wash cloth. My doctor suggested it and even though she bled for a bit it finally did stop bleeding once she could stop crying long enough to suck on it. Sorry it happened and hope your little one is doing ok now.
