  • I don't know, do you? You're the only one that can answer that question. Why can't you stand him and want to avoid him?

  • I doubt it. Odds are you miss the comfort and security of someone you know well, doesn't mean you still love the person.

  • When I want to avoid someone, it's not because I love them. When I reach the point where I dread seeing/talking to him, avoid him and feel like I can't stand him, I know it's over.

  • I would say it's time to move on and start over. No man is worth that kind of suffering. Do what is right for you and your kids. If you are just keeping him there as a financial crutch then you need to drop it. Stand on your own two feet because you can do it without him even though it will be hard at first.

  • You don't love him. If you loved him you'd never have written your original question. You're depending on him, instead. STOP. That's dangerous.

Call 211. It's a national hotline for social services. They can get you what you need.
