  • Actually doing a pap during early pregnancy increases the incidence of false positives. It is best to have it done before getting pregnant. But doctors like to do them every chance they get.

  • Unless there is a complication involving your cervix, then yes. And unless your most recent pap is very recent, they will do one at your 1st OB appt.

  • I don't see why it wouldn't be safe. Tell the doctor you are pregnant, just in case.
