  • I don't think a 13 year old girl needs to be shaving her legs unless she wants to. But if it's a boy and he has that icky peach fuzz, he should probably start!

  • I have a huge ugly scar from using my Dad"s rasor about 11. If you dont want that to happen provide a means of hair removal. I bought my daughter cream hair remover till she was older and could use a rasor correctly. She really only needed to use it up to the knees. My son was threatening to use my rasor at 11. He had a dark lightly fuzzy moustache I bought him an battery shaver. I dont want them scaring themselves.

  • When she starts to really feel self conscience about it (at this point in time anyway)...I would let here now.

  • I think its a great time if she/he wants to. Don't force a child to grow up too fast. I think I started shaving about 11, but I wanted to. My almost 11 yr old doesn't have anything to shave so she will be more like 12 or 13. Just let them go at their own pace.

  • Boy = when they get hair on their face and want to.
Girl = before 13 if they are self-conscious about it!!
