  • You want to tell a child in one minute or less that he or she should respect his or her elders? What age is the child? Or you want to know how to respect your elders?

  • You want us to write you a one minute speech on how to respect your elders?

If so, This sounds like homework assignment or a punishment and I won't do either one for you.

  • You can respect elders by giving them eye contact, waiting until they are done speaking, referring to them by their name, letting them have your seat if there is no place else to sit, helping them carry things, having patience, and speaking respectfully to them.

  • One doesn't teach respect for elders in a one minute speech. It is taught by beginning as soon as a child begins to understand what is and is not acceptable behavior in the home. That's around 8 or 9 months with most children. Parents have to set boundaries and consistently enforce them if there is to be any respect for themselves or for anyone else. This is the same method which must be used with older children, but the later it is started, the more difficult one may expect it to be. Forget a one minute lecture. You will be wasting your breath.

  • Do you wan't to give or receive this one minute talk?
    Who is the target audience??
Why limit the talk to one minute?
Who asks this kind of question anyways??
