  • I'm sure a google search would direct you in the right direction. I'm betting that's gonna cost some big bucks though.

  • If this weren't so FREAKIN expensive I might have thought about it too. But You know that even after you pay your $10,000 it is not guarantee'd you will get a girl. Those boys are sneaky little bastards and can still get through.

  • Ask you regular OB/Gyn to refer you. I'm sure it will be pricey and a lot of doctors probably don't do it as it is a controversial method.

I believe in order to have the desired results you have to have in vitro which is very expensive.

  • Actually depending which method she goes for it can cost from around $26,000.00 to $39,000.00. The basic sperm separation costs $400.00-$600.00 and gives a 70-90% chance of conceiving the desired gender. Microsort costs around $3,500.00 plus the $20,000 for IVF gives an 82-93% chance. PGD is the newest and most controversial method, but at $19,000.00 gives a near 100% guarantee. You'll just have to seek a fertility doctor in your area that can do the procedure.

  • PGD costs around $6,000 in addition to IVF $10,000 -$12,000. I did it but not for sex selection. I did it for genetic evaluation. The thing is, even if they remove 23 eggs (like with me), once they are fertilized, only a few actually go on to become embryos (in my case 3). Out of that 3 you have to hope one is female & implants. So it is still the luck of the draw. I did it twice. Total cost around $30,000. It did not work the first time (no viable embryos) so I had to do it completely over again.

Then I had a surprise pregnancy 6 years later. Go figure.
