  • Puberty changes kids' sleep cycles. They can't fall asleep early and have difficulty waking up early, too. Is it possible this is part of the problem?

  • What time are you sending her to bed?

My oldest is 11, turns 12 Sunday. He wakes up at 6 am now that school is once again in session, and goes to bed between 830-9 pm.

It doesn't sound like the bed is preventing her from falling asleep, it sounds like you're probably expecting her to sleep longer than she needs to and putting her to bed too early.

  • What time does she go to bed? Maybe it's too early.

  • I'm a lil confused on what you are asking!!!! I honestly do not think the items on her bed are preventing her from sleeping. Kids sleep patterns change with age
