Can you help my ghetto desk chair?

Okay, so it's a Staples desk chair.. It's made out of that cheap, imitation leather type stuff. It's peeling like a bad sunburn. I've got black stuff on my floor and it's making me crazy. For the time being, I have covered it with a pillow case so the black stuff won't get everywhere. Anyone know what to do about this? The padding does not come off the chair, I've checked. The chair is in great condition other than this.

  • LOL- at this point it sounds like yes.
I found a couple of sites. This one seems like it may be what you are looking for.
But this method seems to be the best. A couple of sites suggest the same techniques

  • I removed the arms because they were always loosening. Otherwise, I love it!
