What do you clean your fruits and vegetables with?

Do you just rinse them with water or do you clean them with something else?

  • I usually just rinse stuff with water, unless I've got potatoes or some other root veggie that might have dirt to scrub off with a brush.

  • I just use water.

When I worked in a kitchen many yrs ago, we used this stuff that I can't remember the name of but honestly I don't think it did anything different. I've seen the vegetable washes and think it's all just marketing gimmicks and waste of money.

  • I remember there was some kind of rinse. I think you could find it in the produce aisle.

I've never said this before, but I love you, Anon! LOL
