  • No such thing - by being packaged it involved processes that make it less healthy, hence the name "processed food". Your school is kidding itself if they think healthy non-homemade snacks can be provided. The closest you could do is get one of those fruit or veggie trays from the grocery store deli.

  • Why isn't yogurt healthy?

Have you read the label? HFCS out the wazoo unless it's "lite" then it's nutrasweet - the diet aid that actually increases your appetite.

  • Fruit kabobs, maybe a meat and cheese tray with whole grain crackers, although that stuff could get expensive for a few dozen people.

  • Why isn't yogurt healthy?

Costco sells pre packaged carrots and apples. The pre-packaged thing stinks because it's so expensive and there aren't many healthy choices.

  • Depends on how "healthy" - you can get a huge box of pre packaged single serving chex mix bags at a place like Sams or Costco. I used to take in fruit juice popsicles for my daughter's class and they fit into their school's healthy guidelines.

  • Label looks fine to me ingredient wise. The sugar is pretty high though. We buy tillamook.

  • Can you have nuts? I like Larabars they are in the health food/diet section. The Peanut butter Cookie Larabar only has 3 ingredients, peanuts, dates, and sea salt. They have other flavors too.  They are really good
