How can i make pumpkin baby food ?

Any recipes would be helpful :)

Can I mix it with other fruit ?

  • I used to just cut a pumpkin in half and scoop out the seeds, then bake it cut side down in a pan with a smidge of water in the bottom. When it got soft enough to peel off the rind, maybe a half hour to 45 minutes depending on the size of the pumpkin, I'd mash it up fine and blend in just a little bit of rice cereal or ground-up oatmeal to make it a good consistency. I froze it, and my baby scarfed it down; she loved it. I guess you could mix in any other fruit you wanted.

  • Yep
    Halve,scoop,bake,scoop,run thru a blender
    apples and pears go well with pumpkin/squash,as well as carrots
    add a little nutmeg and cinnamon. The little one will love that

  • steam the pumpkin chunks until soft and puree
    Do not add anything except possibly a drip of water if needed. You want it cooked mushy.
    You can mix it with other fruits or vegies that she has already tried and had no reaction to
