What counld this be

My son has been coughing for 4 days now,only cough no other symptoms....dose your kids get a cough then they teeth? shounld I bring him to the doctor?

  • id bring him to doctor.. it could be nothing but id rather be safe than sorry. plus I know whooping cough has been going around..

  • No other symptoms, probably allergies. If I see it is bothersome to the child I take them to the doctor. Has nothing to do with teething.

  • I don't think it is whopping cough , he is a little congested ,but the congested and the cough does not bother him, he still acts normal and plays and runs if it was whopping cough do you think it might bothering him. Sorry for all the questions .I'm a 1st time mom. He will be 2 in nov , I don't know if the age helps. I would take him to the doctor but they are closed on weekends.

  • I don't think it is either, my first thought is allergies but you said its not going away and so I think a doctors visit would be the way to go.. just because none of us are doctors.. try and call Monday morning and see if they can get him in

  • Still thinking allergies as we are transitioning into the fall weather. If he has no other symptoms a doctor visit can wait until Monday.

  • ya I think it might be allergies,

    especially if your weather has been wet and then dry
    the wet causes spores and junk to grow and the dry will cause them to fluff into the air
