  • Fruits and veggies of any kind (Broccoli is considered the "miracle veggie"...if you eat no other veggie, you should eat broccoli). Switch to whole grain pasta and breads. Eat a low fat yogurt or two every day. As for losing need to reduce your overall calorie intake and increase your level of activity.

  • yes, and burn calories by working out. In a month you shouldn't lose more than about 8 pounds safely. But thats significant so do what you can and keep it up after the vacation.

  • Eat as natural and as close to home as possible! Meaning buy organic fruits and veggies from your local farmers markets if you can. Stay away from anything that says "enriched" and look for SIMPLE ingredients. Stay away from ingredients you can't pronounce, that almost ALWAYS means hidden fats and sugars. If you wanna lose weight quick, drink water only, and LOTS of it! No alcohol or soda, just water. If you're having a salt craving buy some fresh almonds and toast them with garlic powder, not garlic salt, it will zap that craving right away! If it's sweets your craving, those organic fruit leathers, (just like a fruit roll up but better;) are YUMMY! Hope this helps ;) goodl uck!

  • Eat a diet high in fiber and protein, low in fat, sugar, and carbs. Try eating whole grain pasta instead of regular and eat whole grain, rye, wheat bread instead of white. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. Cut out the soda and drink water. Try propel flavored waters if you dont like plain water. Propel is low on calories and sugar. Eat grilled chicken instead of fried, stay away from greasy meats such as hamburgers.

  • high in fiber, high in protein, and no saturated( or little) SATURATED FAT. NUTS, BEET S!(i know sound horrible but actually have a chemical composition that helps break down carbs and kick start metabolism) green tea, and dont eat a lot of "empty carbs" like 'enriched pastas or bagels, stick to whole grain pasta and bread
for a quick jumpsart to your body in the am, take 5 min to stretch, you'll feel better and it jumps the metabolism into gear!
