  • I think so yes!
And I made some yummy stew for dinner last night because the A/C in this house makes you feel like winter is here haha

  • Yep. Actually I made chili today and I just cut up four tomatoes & added some water plus spices. It worked out great,

  • Personally, I wouldn't. The spices in chilli don't really go with some of the Italian flavors like basil.
But give it a try, it may come out yummy!

  • I've done it before and couldn't taste the Italian flavors in it.. Chili powder and cumin mask it well.

  • I have two recipes from my Great-Grandmother and my dad, one is for spaghetti with a sauce and the other is for chili. They both use tomato soup, onions, and meat. I say go for it. I would use something like a tomato soup though if you want to thin the sauce so that it won't get a watered down taste to it though.

  • Yes, definitely. It can be really tasty. I'd actually go easy on the chili powder so that some of the Italian flavors don't get lost in it.
