Ladies who make their own laundry detergent. How do you avoid the "pudding skin"

on top of your setting soap?
I've tried everything I can think of to make sure it's mixed well
I'm wondering if the room temp is an issue

  • I had this same problem. The only thing that made a slight difference was making sure my mixing water was really hot but, honestly, I never got rid of it completely.

I only make the powder soap now. It's easier to make and easier to store for me
