How do you spend "family night/day/evening" with your loved ones?

if you're a single mom who has one child what type of activities do you do,

what time should bed time be if you happen to spend a movie night with your child.? etc..

additional info: i post my curiousity under "health" because i know that spending quality time

w/loved ones is healthy and important.

  • Spend time with your family on family night. Does not matter how many are there or what you do.

  • If it's family day/night, friends should be excluded. I think if it's meant for family, it should be exclusively family time. There will be other times to include other people. I'm a single mom, we have family movie night every Friday. I'm not sure what bedtime has to do with it, because that's going to be more about the age of your child and what works for you currently.

  • Depends on the age of the child. Pop some popcorn & watch a movie. Play a game. Go somewhere. Bedtime should be age appropriate. As for having a male "friend" around, I just wouldn't. That's supposed to be time for you & your child. Unless there's a ring on the finger, then little or no access to your child. It could only cause problems later on if things don't work out.
