What do head start teachers need for ther 1st time student?

I had the list of what she needed for dd, but I cannot find it, I know they need the shot records, and proof of residency, what else?

  • Not sure if this is what she would need but my son needed his a brief check up that checked his vision, hearing, and teeth.

    Vaccine record or exemption form
    SS number or exemption form
    hearing vision and dental form
    proof of residence
    child's birth certificate

  • why are you sending your kid to head start?
    not snippy but genuinely curious
    depending on the study they are not necessarily effective in regards to long term benefits

  • feralxat...Doctor had diagnosed her with a speech delay, and she falls just short of being in kindergarten. Besides she isn't ready for that anyway. They used to have a program called "Young 5's" which would have worked out. And we also qualify for getting her into head start.
