I have a Lasagna recipe that calls for a 4.5 quart baking dish. How big is the baking dish? Mine aren't marked. I think it's bigger then 9x13. Please help! Thank you in advance <3

  • I don't go by measurements of a dish when I make Lasagne.
I just layer and if there is extra, I make and freeze the smaller one.

  • Baking dishes come in a variety of sizes.
How could we possibly know the size of yours?

  • I would just use a lasagna dish and like KTE said, if you have extra make a smaller one and freeze it.

  • BTW, I just googled 4.5 qt. baking dish and one of the first things that popped up was a Le Creuset rectangular dish that is 12 x 9. It's probably a little taller than normal lasagna dishes (13 x 9), so I would just stick with a 13 x 9.

  • It's a pretty small dish. Not 9 by 13, something smaller than that.
