Should I call the doctor?

Last Friday I had a little bug and ran a little fever and had a
really bad sore throat. And got over it on that Saturday.
On Wednesday, I lost my voice and had a lot of drainage.
Ans still feels kinda hard to swallow. My voice has gotten better
since last week but my voice is croupy when I talk and still feels
kinda hard to swallow. Do you think I should go to the doctor?
Or give it a couple more days?

  • What does the doctors office say? When in doubt call them and they will help you figure it out!!

  • Unless I was running a fever then I would just ride it out. Call & see your Doc if your fever spikes again.

  • I would give it a few days and if i wasn't any better ,i'd get checked.

  • I would go in. Then again I can't afford to feel bad like that.

  • I don't go in unless something lasts longer than 2 weeks. I just feel like most of the time, it's viral and nothing can be done for it anyway & I'd rather not pay a doc to tell me that.

  • Call the Dr's office and tell them your symptoms. They will advise you on whether they need to see you.

  • It won't hurt to call and ask, although the office might just recommend rest and fluids. Still, having a strep test might be in order.
