Ex's demands

So the minute I literally wake up I receive a text from my sons father saying he is still mad that I wouldn't pay for his side of the family for my sons party so he is saying he wants to throw our son a party (which I am fine with) but that I should cover the costs for his party because I refused to pay for his side of the family for the party that I had.

The reason I didn't pay for his side of the family is because he claimed he wanted a joint party which means if we are throwing a party together he should pay for his half of the family joint means sharing costs not I pay for everything and he is responsible for nothing I think it's ridiculous that he thinks I should pay for his party. What do you all think?

  • I really wish I cared about your non-stop family drama. But I don't.

  • I think he's stupid or dreaming. If he wants to throw a party, he can pay for it. Why is this difficult? If he and his family can't be trusted to behave at a child's birthday party, then why do you bother talking to any of them? Electronic communication and then cut it all off other than that.

  • Of course he's crazy. Why would anyone do that?

  • There's a reason he's an EX.

I don't do anything, share anything, or even speak to my ex about anything. He does his own thing with our boys, and I do mine. It's much easier that way. (Unless of course there's an emergency)

  • This will be the ETERNAL answer regarding your ex. Write it down on a big sign.

Haven't seen him be RIGHT once, so it's going to be a permanent answer.
