To whom would you report this?

I saw 2 little boys shooting the rod at a bus full of kids after he got dropped off that very same bus he had both middle fingers up towards the kids on the bus.

Then I saw another little boy shoot the finger as he walked off to go home he was walking but at the same time he had that middle finger out.

I don't know what it is about boys but something has to give. Ages 10-12

I feel like letting them know I saw them as we drove off (I am a monitor on their bus) or should I just tell the supervisor? I want them to know that if they want to continue to ride in our bus they are going to have to apologize or something...ugh!

Thanks Ladies!

  • If those boys were MY boys, I would want to be notified immediately! I wouldn't give a Damn if they were on or off the bus!
That type of behavior, if it is not dealt with, escalates, because they see know one cares enough to report it and there are no repercussions from it!
I expected my boys to carry themselves respectively regardless of where they were!

  • KTelite, your boys wouldnt have done it to begin with, however I think the biggest issue here is it feels like a power trip sort of post instead of a for real post.

  • They're just being little jackasses.

  • Why? They were no longer on the bus and therefore not under school restrictions.
I think you are taking this way too seriously and maybe should schedule an appointment with the counselor.
Hint: You do not get to control everything.

  • I am confused.
What censure do you feel is appropriate for anyone "giving the bird"?

  • They weren't on the bus so there is nothing you can do. If you try to keep them off the bus or talk to them about things that happened after they got off the bus, the parents can file a complaint against you. If it happens on the bus, then you can do something about it.
